Light Brahma Bantam
Standard Brahmas were developed form a Malay and Cochin cross. Later, Brahma bantams were developed in England. Light Brahma bantam chicks have gray backs with light yellow heads, wing tips and abdomens. They have pea combs and feathered, yellow legs and feet. Adults have a white head and the web of the hackle feathers is greenish black laced with white. The breast body, back, front of the neck, wing shoulders, fronts, bows and coverts are white. The wing primaries are black with a white border. The male’s saddle feathers are white with a V-shaped black stripe and the tail is black with the coverts being greenish black laced with golden white. The shank feathers are golden buff and black with the black feathers being laced with white.
