Dark Cornish Bantam
Cornish bantams were developed by crossing standard Cornish with Black Red Game bantams. Dark Cornish chicks have dark brown heads and backs with two light brown chipmunk streaks running down the back. The face, chest, abdomen and wing tips are light brown to white. Adult males are primarily greenish black with some dark red. The main tail and wing primaries are black, with the wing primaries having some red edging. Adult females have a greenish black head and a black main tail. The remaining plumage is primarily reddish mahogany with greenish black lacing.
