White Japanese Bantam
Japanese bantams, first known as “Chabo”, originated in South China, which is now Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia. The first color was red-brown with white and black birds appearing as sports from them. The breed is recognizable for their short body and legs that contrasts their large, upright tail. White Japanese bantam chicks are solid cream or light yellow, occasionally one might have a black spot on top of the head. They have single combs and clean, yellow feet and legs. Adult White Japanese plumage including the quill, is entirely white.
