Buff Brahma
Brahmas originated in India from a cross between Malays and Cochins and were originally known as Chittagongs, Gray Shanghais and Brahma Pootras. Buff Brahma chicks have black backs, gold heads and light-yellow wing tips and chest. They have pea combs and feathered feet and legs. Adults have a buff columbian plumage pattern and fully feathered shanks and toes. Their head is golden buff and hackle feathers are black laced with golden buff. The front of their neck, breast, body and back is white. The main tail is black with the coverts being laced with golden buff. They are considered a dual-purpose bird that lays brown eggs, but they are mainly kept for their unique appearance.
