Brown Red Old English Bantam
Old English bantams were developed in England many years ago presumably from the common crossbred bantams of the countryside. Brown Red Old English chicks are almost totally back though some have a little white on the abdomen, front of neck or wing tips. They have single combs and clean, black legs and feet. Most of their plumage is black. The head, back and wing bows are deep orange, and the breast is black with deep orange lacing. The hackle and saddle feathers are deep orange with a narrow dark strip through the middle of each feather.
